hello Eagles I'm Scarlett scholarly I'm Melissa motivated I'm Richard respectful and welcome back to another episode of Eagle News before we get started we'd like to take this time to remind all Eagles that the end of the third quarter is rapidly approaching us please just make sure you are on top of your grades and meeting with your teachers regularly yes Eagles this goes out especially to 8th grade Eagles promotion is approximately 3 months away make sure you are meeting that 2.0 requirement or hitting that title of honors please maybe we can get together this weekend and go over our classes and grades to see how we're doing I love that idea let's make it happen getting started with this episode we have a lot in store for everyone we try a fun and exciting entertainment Corner we try a new trend with food and we take a look at another class offered here at RMS for our first segment we go to our entertainment team who has an exciting game you won't want to miss take it away I'm Jacob Ramirez and I'm Hannah Lopez and today we're going to be trying watch let's get started now we're now we're going to be making the watche okay okay let's get started in llama land there's a 1-man band and Ill toot his flute for you come fly with me I don't know okay ready yeah like it not good it's really good normal have you I don't taste the difference what do you mean normal what does it taste like do you like a normal like I want a fresh Apple the the what is really good I like it whoa oh good um yeah mhm unfortunately tasted bad it tastes good but I can't chew the ice very good portion can't chew the ice I think you need a I think are you okay yeah I'm okay yeah you have to drink the liquid with it I don't think I like it's not melty okay actually that's better I just don't like mango that's the 1 thing I just don't like mango no it's okay it just tastes like I want in let me speak we're getting ready at 1 through 10 I give it a 3 a 3 I give it like a 4.5 it it was good but not that good oh my goodness the juice is like um it's vegetables and I give it like a 4.5 maybe even a 4 I honestly give it like a 7 I think it's really good uh I give it a 8 my my fonts are like it's going all right and but it it takes super good though wait out of 10 well you guys thank you for watching another edition of food Corner bye wow that he looked so good I definitely need to try to make that at home I always get this Tik Tok so people making them with different kinds of fruit inside and the color looks so pretty and I love when they make it and ASMR pouring in the ingredients it really really does make me want to try and make some of my own but instead of fruit I'll put in my favorite candy and it'll taste delicious hmm I'm not sure how mixing candy will taste but you do use Scarlet moving forward it's time for a closer look at this week we take a get all the fun classes that we have here at our mess take it away hello Eagles I'm Mrs viegas and we are at my running club right now AKA wild Club AKA walking Club um as you can see it's nice and cold in the morning uh they usually get her around 7:20 7:30 um whether it's to make up a mile practice their mile or just get their steps in um the students come they either walk or um run or just their uh own pace hello my name is Valeria VA and 1 thing I like about the running club is that I get to run with my friend hi my name's Gabriel and 1 thing I like about the M Club is I could bring up my mild checks the benefits of working out in the morning is it could improve energy mood focus and decision making hi my name is Jaylen and what thing I like about Jamal Club is it helps me improve my grade who knew all the collectives that we have here at the school I know right there's something for everyone here just like how I love filming and being in front of the camera so I signed up for video production exactly exactly and I love being creative so I gladly joined the median design class which I love going to every day that is how I feel about my music elective class too I like being able to play my favorite instrument in Jan with my friends moving along we now go to snack and trap this week we have another to teach you you won't want to miss take it away hello Eagles and welcome back to another edition of snack and chat with Mr sheer Howard and approving agents today I'm going to be interviewing Mr sheep's well we eat some of his favorite snacks let's get started okay so the first question is how tall are you that's a that's a popular question I'm 6 feet 6 so so I think my height really I mean it comes from both parents my dad's 63 but I think really because my mom is 5'11 I think that's what pushes me over the top tall dad and tall mom so I'm 66 um were you always the tallest kid in your class or did it take a while for you to get like you go straight I I was pretty much always a tossed it's a it's a kind of sad actually I was really good at sports when I was a kid because I was way bigger than everybody else and then as I got a little bit older and people started to get a little taller a little closer I started getting worse at sports so maybe everybody started getting a little better but I still have the height obviously so yes I was the tallest um what stock would you like to try first or what comedy um let's just go with some of these topics have you had these ones so far um I don't think so I don't think I've had them either there we go only the regular 1 do I get to try it first yeah you like it a friendship will never die you got that I'm pretty good I don't think these are as good as just the regular tacos so it goes better with your tortilla should we try a dip too yes you want to go best to worst or Worse to best let's pick the 1 do you think is the worst let's do the hardest 1 first sour cream okay I think that'll be good kind of Mr Garcia said he was going to get caught as cheese that would have been tough cottage cheese would not be good yeah I think it's probably okay yeah You've Got a Friend in Me it's all right I'm trying not to let it touch my tongue okay it's okay it's fine they kind of like offset each other if you're struggling with the spice maybe the sour mhm I'm not struggling for the record um now what do you like to do in your free time I my wife and I have 2 dogs so we love our dogs we're always doing something with our dogs running around with put them in the house or taking them for a walk I feel like at school I'm very focused on the students and then I get home and then I have not kids but dogs that are kind of like our children so we we spend a lot of time with them going for walks playing with them I really like sports which I think a lot of you know who know me and so I'm I was watching sports or reading about sports on my drive home I drive kind of far to get here so on my drive home I'll listen to podcasts about sports or something but I like to make phone calls to people too since I'm from Colorado and now here in California to talk to my friends or talk to my parents but yeah you know hanging out with family Sports I guess maybe I should say I like to read as an English teacher I do like to read but I'm I'm always reading something for school or something about sports so it's a shame to say that I really don't read books as much as I should and as much as I used to as much as you all should you understand these ones different depth okay nice let's just try all of them with everything should we just go go in the order yeah and the cream cheese this 1 I don't know about this is this is going to break me yeah You've Got a Friend in Me yeah what happened I guess I I think this is maybe a little better than the last 1 now let's try the yeah these are kind of similar huh you want to help this will be embarrassing if I can do it either no that was all me I'm like come on you go first the way I do I don't know about the combo we'll see ship will never die you're going to see it's a gas I feel like they both taste good on their own but I don't know about the combination together where are you from I'm from Denver Colorado if you come to my classroom you'll see a Colorado Flag in there you'll see something from Mile High Stadium where the Denver Broncos play I'm obviously a big Broncos fan being from Colorado so um yeah if you have me in class you will hear me talk about Denver pretty frequently you'll see the stuff up on the walls and it's I'm biased obviously but what I tell people is I would not live anywhere other than here or Denver I think those are 2 great places now what inspired you to become a teacher my dad is actually well he's not a teacher anymore he's a principal now he's a high school principal he's been a high school principal for gosh almost 20 years now and I never thought I was ever going to be a teacher like I I went to the school that it taught at and I never in high school thought I want to be a teacher or anything like that but then I got to college and I didn't know what I wanted to study so I decided to pick English because I was good at English in school and then before I was going I graduate I realized I don't know what I'm going to do with my life with an English degree and I thought I guess I can teach and then shoot it's already 7 years later here I am it just kind of happened but I love it if you don't love teaching then you got to get out of teaching because what we do is too hard as much as we love you all we put in too much effort if we don't really love what we do so I love being a teacher okay time for the 1 I was most excited let's go I mean we know these are delicious anyone who has seen these knows that they're delicious we don't even have to wonder I think they'll go the best with this with the guest house should we start with that we could go in reverse order this time or do you want to keep the order the same what do you think let's go in reverse order kind of fun start with this 1 you said you think this will be the best yeah that was pretty good I'm going for a second I think the specific spice of this chip goes very well for now I think that's true that's interesting right the chips have kind of a different spice mhm yeah that's good shoot this 1 again it's not even that I don't like the dip it's just it's just not quite right with this it is that I don't like the dip no more creamy spinach dip for you you know you like it it's with this 1 hm I wouldn't willingly eat it like a regular but if we weren't being forced mhm it's all right not bad at all you got a treat okay hopefully these won't be kind of good yeah I feel like we have a better chance with these the way I do boy it is the friendship with the cream cheese it's just kind of you know it doesn't totally make sense really but I think I'm going to like this combo more than the next combo I don't know that I can explain why but I feel like with the Cheetos the cream cheese might be what is your biggest student pet peeve you can only pick 1 my biggest student pet peeve I I I I shouldn't use the word hate because we're not supposed to say that hate things I strongly dislike when my students are rude to each other when they make a comment about someone when they're talking about someone behind their back or they're being rude to their face that really gets up on my nerves that when when you all aren't treating each other with respect that is my biggest pet okay so we chose different sodas the first 1 is going to be Mountain Dew infinite swirl with the blast of artificial rolls right off the tongue mhm have you had it no not yet like Mountain Dew I don't really try it that often yeah I know my brother likes when we were growing up my step brother love me that's his favorite cheers thank you for having me the ship will never die you're going to seek its gas me you got me it it doesn't really taste like any kind of fruit but it kind of tastes like a mixture of some fake fruits you know I don't know if that's a good explanation is this like they it tastes like they tried to make pineapple not like get the flavor out of it they said it was a swirl so yeah I I think they've done it some of us heard that you got married and so what is your married life like you know it's it's really cool I I feel really lucky that I've been with my wife for 10 years years now since we've been together so we've we've gone through a lot together we've moved different places together we've adopted dogs and you know all that was before we were married so it's really cool that we've got to to grow together honestly we we were kids when we met I was 17 she was 19 so we've grown up together um and it's awesome that we we finally got to make it official and we're kind of still riding the the high of our marriage Bliss after the wedding so it's it's really nice that's sweet that you asked thank you of course okay now um we brought 2 sodas Coca-Cola cherry and Pepsi cherries okay so we're going to try it and we're going to see if we can find the difference I love that idea okay so don't look at the bottom when we drink it we have to cover Okay so not like I think I think that 1's Pepsi oh okay they do taste pretty similar don't they in your mouth someone's Pepsi or you say this 1 is Pepsi and this 1's Coca-Cola I think it's Coca-Cola Pepsi I learned from my last interview not to be overconfident okay so I'm going to be like calm and I think this is Coca-Cola and this is Pepsi like the reverse okay you guys can look at your cups notice me who's right cherry Coca-Cola Pepsi and Cherry Pepsi oh pancake art in Dosa with pancakes let's get started let's first like the first thing what are they doing first until like we're actually using it I think we should do the Emoji where your best are going down the line and like girl oh I live in the in the middle of the night my with your the number oh girl just want to have that's all we really want the holes are from the liquid inside the pancake operating and it had to leave somehow that's why they say your pancake is ready when it starts bubbling because that's how you know that it's hot enough to be cooked okay well mine's ready put it down yeah okay pancake this is okay well I'll take a bite of it after this is mine mine you know what I can't even save you from that I'm like this is my guys this is mine you can't really tell cuz the orange mixed in with the yellow yeah yeah 3 no wait mine's still hot mine's still hot it's very hot 3 no 2 no it's not ready cheese ball is so serious and not good can you on YouTube no actually tastes pretty nasty okay you're the only 1 that has sprinkles but actually it tastes good what should I do for my next 1 want to have stop the pancakes giving you guys all fired up yeah it's serious it's cuz Sarah doesn't know how to flip actually I do let's try to flip mine and she cracked it I flipped it no I flipped it and it cracked but I put it back and it looks perfectly fine wait hold on let me help you know okay yeah actually oh yeah Leslie yeah that looks so good well it did he did look okay can you can I put mine okay sorry Sarah she's not even using woo that looks good looks really good fire this was um yeah it looked better but somewhere here it is ruined it she ruined my this was mine I think it's really good considering it that white I'm just kidding it's it's it's a
