Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, continues to be widespread in California. To help stop its spread, state law mandates that ALL students entering 7th grade be vaccinated and provide proof of a Tdap vaccine booster at the beginning of the school year.
If your child does not have a Tdap booster or the school does not have proof of immunization. Please schedule an appointment with your regular doctor or bring in proof of immunization by Monday, May 23, 2016 or your child will not be able to receive a schedule of classes for the next school year.
Fun in the sun will be held on 5/26. Remember good grades, good behavior and of course good attendance will allow you to attend Fun in the Sun. Tickets will be $1 each. Make sure to bring your money to participate in the fun events and eat some great food.

The El Rancho Unified School District is conducting a voluntary survey about school climate. The survey will be administered to students during regular school hours during the weeks of May 23, 2016 through June 3, 2016. It will ask students about their perceptions on topics such as student engagement, school environment, and school safety. Please read the enclosed flyers for more information.
