hello Eagles I'm scholarly I'm Melissa motivated I'm Rachel respectful and welcome back to another episode of Eagle News additionally I'd like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year before we begin I want to let everyone know that we are in new semester which means grades are starting fresh 8th graders this is your last semester RMS so make sure you are top of all of your grades in GPA we have so many things planned for the end of the year as it is important you have good grades so you can attend as a reminder eighth graders and overall 2.0 GPA is needed to meet promotion requirements getting started with this episode we have a lot in store for you today our entertainment team has a fun game our food Corner team trees some yum yummy lunches and we interview somebody else on our snack back and chat with segment for our first segment we go to our entertainment team that has a fun game you won't want to miss take it away hello welcome back to another edition of entertainment corner I'm Skyler I'm Carlos and today we'll be guessing the snack in the box and whoever wins will get the prize let's get started um I think I'm going to put the cookies right here yeah um um okay okay okay stress box is blue oh my God Capri Suns blue right here oh yeah last 1 talk about a good job no you got to keep going you got to put on the snacks lemons of fruit these are fruit lollipops oh my God oh wow this is red oh my God red dip good job I got 2 fun dips blue and red I got an oatmeal cookie I got 2 lollipops um I got this Nutella go stick um I got hello pandas and fro of sour what you go thank you for watching another edition of entertainment Corner bye bye what a fun game I've seen stuff like that online and I've always wanted to try it it seems like so much fun you know I always wondered if those that play can see and they're just speaking it but I did play once with my friend of Maury and she made it so much fun I always enjoy watching entertainment Corner however moving question let's see my New Year's resolutions are to eat healthier moving along we now go to our next segment food Corner this week our food Corner team has a childhood snack you won't want to miss take it away um fly with me let's fly let's fly away hello Eagles welcome back to another edition of food corner I'm Charlene Reyes I'm Victor Travis I'm and I'm Hayden Lopez and today we will be trying different lunchable flavors let's get started first we will be trying spicy nachos so lovely which 1 are we trying to the nacho okay ready wait ready 3 2 1 this is like lemon yeah it says there's a lot of lemon but it's not good at all I don't taste it in this place it's not that spicy at all okay let's rate it I rate it like a 6 I gave you like a 4 have you ever like a 5 I'll give it 4 let's move okay should we do the other 1 yeah let's do the I feel like this 1 might be spicy yeah I think this is going to make it spicy 3 2 1 oh where that spicy at all that just tastes like aren't tastes like tomatoes yeah like tomato sauce or something let's rate it I rate it a 3 a 2 a 1 8 5 on to the next next will be trying chicken poppers with ranch and ketchup okay let's go ready ready 3 2 1 wait that's not bad um it just tastes like frozen chicken nuggets they're like dino nuggets it tastes good though okay let's rate it I rate it like a 4 I give it like a 6 I have a like a 4.5 I give it like a 3 okay interesting Ranch okay ready why does the ranch question 3 2 1 that tastes interesting why does Ranch taste like that the ranch doesn't taste like Ranch okay I let's rate it and I give it like a 2 it's not good I'll give it like a 1 maybe like a 2 2 I give it like 8 1 as well that was really bad on to the next the next 1 will be trying is life baloney in America ooh that looks so good okay like let's make like a sandwich okay well how are we doing it first make a sandwich yeah but the cheese and the thing you know okay so oh so delicious the cheese can we put both together here oh both yeah that's so that's this is going to taste so good I already know it oh wait I got like 3 pieces of cheese I didn't wait it's okay you guys ready 3 2 1 oh um it just tastes like the cracker I can't taste anything else I actually kind of like it um what do you guys rate it out of 10 I rate it like 5 yeah like a 5 all right like a 4 I'll give it a 7 okay next let's try the cookie um ready 3 2 I'm just a chocolate chip cookie yeah um that's like the best thing we've tried so far in my opinion what do you guys rate it though I rate it like an 8 like a 9 like a 9 too like 7 as well on to the next now we're going to be trying the dirt cake okay ready 3 2 1 very good I just taste the gummy worm yeah overwhelming um let's read it I give you like a 7 a good 8 I give it like a 7.5 I'll give it like a 9 well you guys thank you for watching another edition of food corner by Eagles I love Lunchables I eat them all the time my favorite Lunchables are the pizza ones but the only the pizza ones with pepperoni all this talk about food has me so hungry so let's move on to another segment moving along with this episode we now go to our final segment snack and chat we have a very special guest in store for you this week take it away hello Eagles and welcome back to another edition of snack and chat with hi guys today we're going to be trying several different snacks while I asked Miss Garcia some questions let's get started the first question is how has being a counselor impacted your personal life well it has impacted my life big way so I feel like I am a better mother a better wife a better friend honestly I like everything I learned as a counselor even just to listen rather than speak you know be fast to speak other help me a lot with my my daughter my daughter is already passed a teenager so those uh days crucial knowing how to respect her space listen how to see a different perspective so that definitely changed that Dynamics with my daughter and my family and I honestly everybody around me sounds like it's helped you a lot um let's let's not would you like to try first Doritos I'm enjoying can we start with the chocolate something sweet okay Okay so the snacky shows for chocolates were um enjoy yeah it's my favorite these are my Grandma's favorite I don't know why I never liked them I think really don't it's the coconut I don't like coconut and I think that's a part that I like the coconut part plus the Almond in it just the cherry on top mhm that's exactly why I love them coconut this has never been a good flavor for me I can eat this every day that's why I don't buy it okay on to the next question okay what New Year's resolutions do you have for this year I think my main 1 honestly is being more about how I make others feel I want to make sure that when I have a conversation with somebody when even just listening I want people that come across and or I interact that they feel special or just you know kindness I feel like we're living in a world where honestly kindness is washing away so I want to keep it more positive from now it's very nice it's a very positive new age and have a second 1 and the other 1 is more like I want to read more I want to I feel like I started getting lazy on reading so I want to start reading more especially start reading um Spanish Literature so that way both you know I my English and my Spanish yeah that a true skill the Spanish your first language Spanish is my first language mhm yep so but I feel like I haven't read open uh Spanish book in a while so I want to look for a good book look and start reading Spanish a little more than before um what's next oh my God I haven't even finished this 1 but I'm ready for the next 1 you know what let's start with unfamiliar ones I have not even I I didn't know that there was Sriracha ones so I would like to try those I know there was a mustard and ketchup 1 for 1 for some really mhm okay so do I just pour it in my plate um how do I just well you could just grab it but whatever toppings you'd like are you going to try it or just um we're both going to try it okay hold on I don't even know how this has to ratchet it smells it smells the same smells like soy sauce yeah mhm that's true mhm you can smell that for yourself and taste it now no the vinegar for you know too everything for me you know what they're not horrible I can taste the but it's just too strong at the beginning it's too yeah yeah I don't know I don't know if I will go to the store and buy it so no definitely uh OHA know yeah you can definitely taste the the the syrup of vinegar too okay next flavor it's late night flavors loaded taco with not cheese ooh I have not tried that either that's new to me I wonder if it's oh I think it's um both flavors are mixed in a bag oh so let's just try to use the chips together yeah so there are yours okay so it's different oh so both at once yes oh okay mm you can choose the spices and smell them mhm yeah I don't like the smells I've never liked the smells of Doritos no nope not any type is this kind of like the Cool Ranch mhm just the spices are different like that's different it's not bad mhm mhm and I think if you were to put the patio and lemon even better I don't know if I'm allowed but I love clicking my I just washed my hands just to it let everybody know before I started cuz I knew I was going to know regular Doritos the regular Doritos okay for a little bit there you go and then some stuff with the own lemon perfect yeah for sure with this 1 but the regular ones you have to have top of the on the this 1 right here mhm I have a cut on my tongue I honestly like the original Doritos with the Tapatio and the yeah and the L um well now I never was a fan of like sausage and spices being put on things so I was I always like really plain so I've never tried this before got it what did you do over winter break mm you know what this winter break was a busy 1 for me so I hosted Christmas for my whole family so they came from New Mexico they stayed with me so obviously I wanted my house to look very Christmassy so I you know decorated extra other years I cooked which I was a host so I cooked I wanted my mom to relax I did for solemn tamales and then they stayed with us for almost a week and then right as soon as they left my husband was already ready to we do camping for New Year's so there's a place called Glamis so it's kind of like a desert yeah I people say like what do you guys do that so desire my husband and my daughter love um writing um that my husband has a dirt bike and my daughter has a side by side car so and I asked me if I I don't I don't so I just go relax and they do their thing mhm so we stayed there for a whole week I know so coming back I was about to relax and then mining love called that they were off of stopping by so it was a pretty busy 3 weeks for me but I did get a couple days in between just to kind of like uh relax do nothing watch um shows so those um couple of days I did enjoy to the max so with the diet coke I know that now it's zero Coke it needs to be like the diet I think they still have Diet Coke now but I there was like a nap taste that I just didn't like so I'm curious to see if this is like the same after taste mm actually it's pretty good it's not like the entire 1 the diet I could tell that it wasn't enough taste this 1 yeah the the regular is definitely like stronger but this is really good yeah I wouldn't mind switching into this 1 is if it's less sugar honestly pretty good yeah before we go earlier I asked you um why do you prefer Coke or Pepsi so we're going to be a challenge where we guess which 1 is Coke and which 1 is Pepsi and neither of us know the difference okay so let's get started I'm excited I've seen this challenge I have to know where that which 1 is the cover the bottom of it though so we know we can see oh all right you already know mhm oh gosh I should know I know I know and they changed the thing what is the hint okay oh my gosh I got this I don't think I'm going to get it and I'm supposed to be the number 1 fan I I am going to okay 1 more 1 more I swear they taste the same but I'm going to say this 1 let's go and this 1 is Pepsi but I'm going to go I'm being done this this 1 is cooking this 1's Pepsi okay yeah I did not I didn't get it right did I get the I got this 1 yeah are they switched did they switch them no you were so sure I was so sure I was I thought it was like really good no I admit it I couldn't I couldn't like you tasted the same to me I could taste the difference so now you get it it's just a mental thing yeah well it goes thank you for watching this edition of it's out with and more vas bye wow what a great interview Mrs Garcia is so funny I know right she's
