Dear Parent or Guardian:
Your child is being asked to be a part of our school’s California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE). This is a very important survey that will help promote better health and well-being among our youth, improve the school learning environment and combat problems such as drug abuse and violence. Your child does not have to take the survey. If you do not want your child to complete the survey, you must notify your school. See letter for more information.

Weekly testing will occur on Fridays at Rivera Middle School.
We would like to inform you that if your child is absent on the scheduled day of testing, you will need to take your child to a centrally located district COVID-19 Test site prior to your child’s return to school.
No Home test

ERUSD students and staff will now be required to show proof of a negative COVID test prior to returning to school after the winter break. Therefore, the winter break will be extended to January 11th for PreK to 12 students. Classes will resume Wednesday, January 12, 2022
