Eagles,
On Halloween day students are welcome to take part in the festivities. As a reminder, the school dress code does apply. Costumes should be appropriate for the season. In years past we have noticed costumes to be excessively revealing and inappropriate for the environment and/or age. In order to avoid problems, Eagles should use the following guidelines:

Beginning Sept 18th, our old phone number (562) 801-5088 will not longer be active. Rivera Middle School's new phone number is (562) 801-7580. All district numbers will be changing.

Asm. Cristina Garcia and Community Nature Connections are partnering to hold a free educational bus trip and tour to the Leo Carrillo State Beach. The bus will pick-up all participants from Ford Park in Bell Gardens on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 9 AM and take a roundtrip to the beach and return by 5 PM. Snacks, water, and lunch will be provided. Asm. Garcia would love for her community to interact with nature and enjoy the wonders of California, while learning about its benefits. RMS offers FREE after school support classes, homework club and extended Library Hours. Students must sign in and are released at 4pm. If they are in Think Together after school. Students will check in with Think Together before attending the support classes and report back to Think Together at 4pm.

August 31st will be the RMS back to school night. Back to School Night will be on August 31st from 5:20pm to 7:00pm . Meeting in cafeteria @ 5:00pm in the cafeteria.has been cancelled due to heat wave.
