Important Testing Info:
Due to some technical issues, 8th grade testing will not begin until Monday April 16, 2018. A new calendar will be posted by end of week.
Thursday April 12 will be a regular bell schedule 7
Friday April 13, will be a regular bell schedule 1

Want to learn about college life with your child? Join us on a parent and student field trip to Cal Poly Pomona on 5/01/18. Only 40 spaces available so make sure to call the office to reserve your space.

Our school year is almost over! 8th grade students received the following flyer with important dates and times. Stay informed Eagles!

The book fair will be open during both lunches and from 3:00-3:30! Don't forget to check out the online book fair that launches on March 19th!

Panorama pictures are prepay so they must be purchased the day of the panorama 3/19. Cost is $17 (group picture) or $37 (framed picture). Please use the order form to place your order

Promotion pictures will also be taken on 3/19 and will be sent home with the student at a later date to see if you would like to order any of the pictures. Make sure to indicate which pose you would like in the form.

Students may take the promotion picture with a gown, but as a reminder gowns will not be allowed during the actual promotion.

RMS after school support classes begin the week of Jan 22, 2018.
Suport and HW classes are free to RMS students.

7th grade students will take the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) January 22-26. Please read the following to get more information on the CHKS. If you do not wish for your child to participate in this anonymous survey, please return the attached flyer with your child's name and your signature to the office.

Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, continues to be widespread in California. To help stop its spread, state law mandates that ALL students entering 7th grade be vaccinated and provide proof of a Tdap vaccine booster at the beginning of the school year.

If your child does not have a Tdap booster or the school does not have proof of immunization. Please schedule an appointment with your regular doctor or bring in proof of immunization or your child will not be able to receive a schedule of classes for the next school year.

Please check your child’s immunization record and if your child:
Already had the Tdap vaccine; take the immunization record to the health office at your child’s school for proper documentation. 
DOES NOT HAVE the Tdap vaccine; make an appointment with his/her doctor to receive the vaccine .
Students who do not provide proof of the vaccine before the start of the school year will not be given a class schedule and will not be allowed to attend school.
