Required Student Check in ( Attendance)
RMS STUDENT DAILY CHECK IN EXPECTATIONS
-ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED-
Starting the week of April 20, 2020
All RMS Students will need to check in with their teachers depending on their daily schedule:
Monday/Wednesday Check in with teachers Period 1,3,5,7
Tuesday/Thursday Check in with teachers Period 2,4,6
HOW WILL AN RMS STUDENT CHECK IN TO THEIR CLASSES?
This can be done at any time during the day: Recommended check-in is during your scheduled period.
This can be done in a variety of ways depending on your teacher:
Some examples include but not limited to:
- Logging into your google classroom and answering a daily question
- Logging into your teacher google meets
- Turning in your assignments on google classroom
- Emailing your teacher
HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOUR CHILD HAS LOGGED ON TO THEIR TEACHER’S GOOGLE CLASSROOM DURING THE WEEK?
- Teachers will take attendance on Fridays and will show up on your students/parent portal ( AERIES)
- If an RMS student has not checked in with their teachers during the week it will show that they are absent in the parent/student portal (AERIES)
- Due to the Pandemic and school closure you do not have to turn in an absence slip.
- During an absence school assignments are still expected to be completed.
How can I clear an absence?

EXPECTATIVAS PARA LA VERIFICACIÓN DE ASISTENCIA DIARIA PARA ESTUDIANTES DE RMS

Todos los estudiantes de RMS deberán reportarse
con sus maestros según su horario:
Los lunes/miércoles tiene que repórtarse con los maestros de los períodos 1,3,5,7
Los martes/jueves tiene que repórtarse con los maestros de los períodos 2,4,6
¿CÓMO PUEDE REPORTARSE UN ESTUDIANTE DE RMS A SUS CLASES?
Esto se puede hacer en cualquier momento durante el día: el “check-in” recomendado es durante su período programado.
Esto se puede hacer de varias maneras dependiendo en su maestro:
Algunos ejemplos incluyen pero no se limitan a:
- Iniciando una sesión en tu Google Classroom y respondiendo a una pregunta diaria
- Al iniciar sesión con tu maestro/a en Google Meets
- Entregar sus tareas en el Google Classroom
- Enviar un correo electrónico a tu maestro/a
¿CÓMO SABRÁ USTED SI SU HIJO/A SE HA REPORTADO EN GOOGLE CLASSROOM CON SUS MAESTROS DURANTE LA SEMANA?
- Los maestros sólo marcarán asistencia los viernes y aparecerá en el portal (AERIES) de estudiantes / padres.
- Si un estudiante de RMS no se ha reportado con sus maestros durante la semana, AERIES mostrará que estuvo ausente el viernes.
- Debido a la pandemia usted no tiene que entregar una nota por una ausencia.
- Durante una ausencia tareas aún deben ser completadas.
¿Cómo puedo borrar una ausencia?
