Play on the same part team which is my first basketball team with the basketball coach at UCLA Vista he was my point guard Jamal has it and at that time that year I got offered a scholarship I didn't know that you know stuff feel really fortunate and blessed and that's how I ended up there was because of coach has inspired me to get there sure I mean that's so cool personally I think both colleges are great advice for students watching that wants to become a dealer principal assistant principal I think you have to love what you do so if you're planning to be an education when should you start incoming calls cheater it starts with you like a very stressful job but when you see the kids out there and laughing and playing and potatoes that's what that's what you work for you know it it makes a difference you know that one of the biggest things that doctors are turning my share is our love for you guys you know that we don't we get tired we don't get tired you know. I don't get tired of coming I start preparing 9 to 4 or Sunday so I can have all my energy so I can be in the moment with you guys cuz I really want to see you got some food. I think that's one of the core little less of a style that really really is into your success and wants to see you develop of my people that's really great advice I'll make sure to keep that in mind the next question is for dr. Ventura do you have any fun stories from your days at USC just buy story like having lots of fun log my time is very stressful cuz I was at the doctor so I guess a lot of people from 4 to 10 is it going to happen hanging out with other people other Educators and to see how is talking about our experiences that are different schools to meet that was curious about the people Pet Sounds like it sounds like fun time do you have any funny stories for my freshman year at UCLA went to the Freshman summer program and you know I have always so you know bug off and Route has a roommate from Texas like all of it we were four of us 3 for California we all knew each other than we had to talk sometime I thought he would he would have country music when we used to work out on the track during the summer we would sneak and put our speaker like up in storm window cuz cuz our dormitory was right over the trash a movie playing rap music like super loud and nobody knew where comes from me and my boy riding is really cool Christian holiday traditions that you do for the holidays like everything that you did for me and starts with you no pick in the tree out you know my daughter always likes to the tree so you know we do that and then we do a gift exchange like with all of our family you know that that's pretty fun by tradition my uncle and still have my parents so I like to go to my parents house I usually do I make big pots for my family after AB so I wasn't able to cook some you're all the way for me to cook that sounds like that's so sweet so much question. is the best what is the best school other than having me of course a few minutes. We're here and I think that's what makes me special I think we have respect for one another they want to learn such a positive culture here the stuff just really like make the school such a better place because all their positivity and like the teachers always willing to help you this next question is for mr. Mason if you weren't here this job has me doing and life like what career with a meat turned out to be neither or I thought I did at one time but when I started doing well if I was still the passionate teacher you know in in my thing was always the commitment to my students sew-in in that was in really that was my linchpin into coaching you know those are some I had to have like you know the goal had to be kissed we're going to college I wouldn't even participate I didn't want to come see the team you know I was always really strict about that you know so if it if it was medication if it would be coaching you know cuz I owe a lot you know till the end you don't like I said I have people inspire me and really changed my life just by me standing again basketball you know if I feel really really blessed to have you growing up did you play basketball by how far to Benton Middle School you know and I played like a high school I played college and I'll tell you several years overseas me promise for the next question we're going to do the lightning rod your answers first and then mr. If you're unable to make it to after-school support office hours we have tutor. Com which is available 24/7 for you to just ask you just have to ask teachers or here we're here. And I would like to ask you if I don't do struggle in silence you know if if you're struggling you have problem remember your teachers are human beings they love you guys they're there to help they got in their profession just so they can support you and help you be successful the Bose speaker go ask a question your totals office hours like documentaries said it and they will absolutely help you you got to trust it that's right that's right I think that's like very helpful to me cuz there's that's one of the things I love about like being at the school is like how much after school support how much the teachers offered to help you like why is nutrition you can always come in the door's always open mr.
