In order for middle school to effectively prepare your sons and daughters for the academic challenges and rigor of high school, Steam Academy @Burke, North Park Middle School and Rivera Middle School will be implementing similar requirements at the middle school level. Please see below for the ceremony criteria:
1. Students will need to maintain a cumulative (6th, 7th, and 8th grade years combined) GPA of 2.0 or higher.
2. No more than two U in citizenship for all subjects 2nd semester of 8th grade year only.
The school principal will make the final determination for students attending the 8th grade ceremony. If the above requirements are met, student will be permitted to participate in the following 8th grade activities: 8th Grade Dance, Knotts Berry Farm( Tentative) or Festival and Promotion Ceremony.
