Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.  I look forward to working with your  child  in their Spanish classes.  Although the classes are of mixed fluency, my goal is to help them learn a bit more than they knew when they walked into my classroom.   As we toggle with the current situation, we will work through the course on a digital platform, until we can resume in class instruction.

Latework
Semester 2 is quickly coming to an end.    Late work for this current unit on Culture will be accepted up until 5/28 at 3 pm.  If the assignment is closed because it is late, you must attend office hours in order to complete it.  
 
Starting June 1, all work will be due by the date, so that it can be scored and added to your grades, as soon as possible. 

Semester 1 Deadline.

Just a reminder that the semester ends this Friday 1/22.
 
All work for Thursday(1/21) and Friday (1/22) is due on Friday 1/22 by 3 pm. 

Office Hours

Office hours for the rest of the semester will be as follows:
 
Monday and Wednesday 1:30 - 2:30
Friday  2 - 3 pm.
 
 
 
 

Distant Learning Packets

While we are away from the classroom the next few weeks, we will continue with lessons as best we can.   Work for the next three weeks will be uploaded to your google classroom accounty by 8 am on Monday morning.   If you would like a printed packet, they will be available for pick up from the office.    I will also be available weekdays via email during the regular school hours.
 

After school support

Due to a meeting, after school support will be on Wednesday Nov 20 from 3-3:55 instead of Tuesday.    

Parent Conferences

Parent Conferences are on Wed. Oct.30.  I will be in the library if you would like to conference that day.
 
 

Class Mixer Make-up Opportunity

If you were absent on Friday,  August 23, and missed our Class Mixer activity, you will have an opportunity to make it up this Thursday, Aug. 29 from 3-3:30 pm.  It will be our only opportunity to bring in students from all grade levels.  

Missed Work

Students wishing to make up worked missed during an absence must attend after school support from 3-3:55.  Only two more days left of after school support, May 9 and May 16 from 3-3:55.    Last day to turn in this work is May 16 at 3 pm.

After School Support

For the last two weeks in March, after school support will be on Tuesdays:  March 19 and March 26.  

Make - ups for SBAC Vocab Test - Week 9

If you did not take the SBAC week 9 vocabulary test, it must be made up after school on Thursday 2/21 from 3-3:55.
