End of semester

Friday May 19 is that last day to turn in any work that was missed and has yet to be turned in as well as any test that was missed must be made up by 5/19.  We must start working on final semester grades because they need to be done the following week. 

Final chance!

Any student with an "F" can stay on assigned date to work or make-up a(an)  assignment(s) missed for 2nd quarter for PARTIAL credit.  You will need to check board or homework site for date.  All sessions will be from 3-4 pm, unless noted otherwise.  
 
This week the date is Tuesday, May 2.  You must be in class immediately upon the end of the day and know what it is you are working on.
 
The date for this week is Friday May 12.  Make sure you know in advance what you are making up.  Check your student portal.    
 
This is the last week for those with an "F" to make up any work.   This week you can stay as follows:
Monday May 15, from 3-3:30 pm
Tuesday. May 16  and Thursday May 18 from 3 - 4 pm.

Thursday's After school Tutoring

Due to a meeting I must attend on Thurs. 3/9, the after school tutoring has been moved to Friday 3/10 at 3 pm.

Final Chance for Quiz make-ups

Last opportunity to make up the tests for the final chapters of the novel before grades are due.  If you missed quizzes for chapters 9, 10, 11,12,13, 14, 15, or 16 of The Clay Marble, you must stay after school on Thursday 12/8.  Please know what chapters you will be making up and arrive by 3:05 pm.

Make-up tests

Any student that has missed any test or quizzes from  the last week and this week, Nov. 21- 29, must make-up the test on Thurs 12/1. at 3pm.

Make up tests

Make up tests for The Clay Marble Vocabulary Test  or for any quizzes from Chapters 1, 2 or 3  of the novel will be given on Tuesday, November 22 at 3 pm.

Parent Conferences

On Thursday, October 27th 2016, Parent Conferences will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm, by appointment only and from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. no appointment necessary. If you would like to make an appointment you may call the office or email me.  
 
If you are not able to attend parent conference day please feel free to check the parent portal to get your child’s current grades. 

Back-to-School Night

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I would like to inform you that I will not be available for Back-to-School night this coming Thursday. Sept 1,  from 5-7pm.  I must attend Back-to-School for my own children.   I have sent a letter home tonight with your child with this information and key points regarding the class.    However, if you still have questions, I will be here on Friday Sept 1 from 12 -2 in order to meet you and answer any questions you might have or if you can't make it please feel free to email me at [email protected]g or call me at 562-801-5088.  I would be more than happy to answer your questions.
