7 Integrated Science (Period 7) Assignments

The deadline for any work assigned or due within the month of October is Friday, October 30th at 3:00 P.M.

Work that was assigned and or due in August or September has closed.

Friday, October 30th @ 3:00 P.M. is the deadline for the month of October.  The biography of a Hispanic scientist, Observation Lab, and the exit ticket for 10-30 will not be accepted after this date & time as my quarter grades are due the following week.

CW:  Students will create a flip book in their INB.  Information on the needs of living things will be added to the flip book.  Instructional videos are available in the GC how how to make the flip book.  The informational video is in the GC also so that students may asynchronously complete the lecture.

Students must complete the transformation of their data before class on this date.  

Students are to add a small cartoon to each of the five senses colums on the Observation Lab Data Table. Cartoons are to be in color.

Specific instructions & requirements are in the GC.

The graphic organizer(GO) must be completed using the KAMI application that was demonstrated in class.  Please watch linked videos for further assistance.

Students need to begin their artwork portion of the assignment.  Artwork is due 10-2 also.

Next week students will begin the formal write up of their biography using the GO.

All components of this assignment are due 10-2.

Directions were given on how to properly format a Google doc (GD) for Mrs. Salisbury

Please see the GC for the instructional video.  The properly formatted GD is due 10-2 @ 3:00 PM.

All students will submit their completed Hispanic scientist project tomorrow by 3:00 PM.  The project consists of the graphic organizer completed with KAMI, the final draft of the wriiten biography, & the associated artwork.

Please make sure your model is complete & colored.  If you missed any portion of the lecture the lecture video is uploaded to your GC under Scientific Process.

Please add the organ that is associated with each sense to the model.

Your vocabulary quiz is scheduled for Monday, 9-14.  Please have the vocabulary word assignment completed so that you may use your definitions on the quiz.  I'll see you tomorrow.

Students in odd period classes will take the NGSS vocabulary quiz on Monday.  Please make sure the CN on the scientific inquiry, explained on Friday, are completed.  Per instructions on Friday, please have your supplies ready for Monday.

All classes will be working on the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) vocabulary assignment.  This will prepare them for the open note quiz on Thursday, 9-10.
