hello Eagles I'm Kendra Medina I'm Rachel respect 1 Welcome Back to another episode of Eagle News before we get started we know you are wondering what happened and we will let you know by the end of this episode however we just want to remind everyone 1 of 2 things number 1 State Testing has begun and in order to attend funding the sun you must complete all sections of the test number 2 fun in the sun will take place on May 29th this is a biggest festival at RMS Rivera is the only school that offers Fun in the Sun we have so much food drinks games prizes and rides it's an event you don't want to miss yes Eagles you heard us right in order to attend the biggest event of the year you must complete all of your sections in the state test other requirements will be included in our next weekly announcements video and have a huge poster located in the quad area starting next week Eagles in case you are wondering yes I am filming today with Kendra and Victoria I saw their episode and I asked to join in with hosting an Eagle News episode what can I say I think we're just so good but I don't blame you Rachel respectful let me add it is a pleasure to film with the great Rachel respectful Rachel you are a legend and this is such a privilege thank you for taking interest in us what can I say ladies it's all about making Eagle News the best it can be and changing things up always makes it fun getting started with this episode we have a lot in store for everyone we have a fun game show a yummy food corner and a passing the time you won't want to miss for our first segment we now go to our entertainment Corner this week our entertainment team has a fun game show you won't want to miss take it away hello Eagles and welcome back to another edition of entertainment corner with Amore viegas rain and Cenas Hayden Lopez Garland today we're going to be doing school themed trivia let's get started these questions are going to range from the subjects math Ela and history the first question is what is the square root of 121 girl what wait wait on the board what are you doing math make sure you check all of your answers oh my gosh put the number whole period okay this doesn't okay in the back hello okay we've got our Workshop oh okay alright okay ready that's fine okay 3 2 who's right and Hayden and Charlene got it correct so that is 1 point that is 1 point for you guys so write down your boards if you have 1 point just write a tally who is the Greek goddess of beauty it's kind of hard to I don't know how you need help um like I don't understand what you're saying so just just this okay can I show the board wait okay so I don't know okay uh can we show the board yet yes okay yes um yeah I'll I'll understand what you're saying okay ready are you guys ready is that mine okay 1 1 or no 2 in the lead okay next question um who was the 16th president of the United States did there yeah I don't know the first name but I know this is might be the last name the 16th wrong but it's right it's what um oh wait actually I don't know I think he's just going voice in my head guys I see it but I think so Abraham Abraham okay and finally the last question double points no triple points hey you how many wives did Henry VIII have yo learn about this hi dress hi dress hold on remember the song wait hydrant know it's my answer and I'm standing on this answer I think this is wrong the correct answer is I think it's yes it's 6 oh my God yes yes okay 6 is wild I said 13 he like I said 3 I just know that well our winner who got all the questions before everyone else have you ever thought about if we had a trivia game show and wish ourselves well we all know I would win I'm too good at just about everything I do the only thing I'm not good at is losing I've always been bad at that thankfully it's never happened so I think that's why Melissa Now ladies that's not important moving forward with this episode Eagles we now go to our next Corner what a much needed list I finished my mantis with time to spare thankfully I had a book with me as I always do so I just ran into the end of the pair yet I like when teachers have word searches in Sudoku puzzles I love doing those I agree Mrs Murio always has fun stuff for us to do when we finish that's why I love testing in her class moving along with this episode we're not going to our we're going to be trying the Island Lake survey I miss the baby I'm Kendra Medina I'm I'm let's get started okay so we're going to have a little fun and Kendra Victoria going to try to guess the first 1 and then if they get it correctly they're going to get a ready ladies yeah yeah yeah yeah okay are you driving it first no just go grab it wait it tastes good you biggie well my finger went in oh let me help you here okay give us a toy put it in my hand Mia exactly I was hoping oh I know if you're supposed to try it at the same time but I already ate it I like that wait where did it go wait wait wait do you think it is like it tastes like lemon but at the end it tastes like grapefruit huh no I think I think it's the Mandarin wait orange I think no I think it's a berry thing yeah because you know in like an orange like it's like sour like bitter or whatever that's what it tastes like I know what I'm saying I know what I'm looking at but yeah Kendra okay wait what do we think it is I just went okay wait what do you think it is I need to get it she already said I see hey come back weird why are you I don't okay it's good though okay so um are we going to do the 1 you said yeah we think it's the great for 1 yeah it's like the berry 1 the red very grapefruit something thing I don't know what I'm talking about here can I have a mask okay open your eyes open your eyes oh I was literally no I told you I was literally right okay so now it's Isabella and Mia's turn go guys like okay grab your spoons oh yeah oh oh oh I think I got some did I get some yeah okay I took I wait I'll wait for you some did I grab it no yes so maybe yeah yeah you got a lot okay I'm ready 1 2 3 go oh this tastes like um coconut coconut oh yeah you guys both think it's a coconut yeah okay open your eyes open your eyes coconut what it's good with that like the it literally tastes like grapefruit the aftertaste is good wasn't my fault well they got it and now for a tiebreaker we will be trying a third flavor can we try it with some more yes a third flavor with chamoy okay can we try now yes okay ready 3 2 2 1 mm I don't know if I ate the chamoy or not like a pure chamoy oh all right now talk to each other can we open our eyes now not yet okay talk to each other and decide to leave everything you guys can get hold up I'm trying I'm trying to figure out I only got your money oh okay have on your back no but it tastes like I know I know what it is I know I know I know what it is yeah where's your ear right here oh um okay Victoria do you have your guests ready wait where where is your ear come here yeah we're ready okay Victoria what's your guess the pink 1 wait what was it okay we think it's the pink 1 the the berry grapefruit 1 okay and Mia what did you guys think of food corner by eagle what a yummy food corner I don't think I've tried those but they did look delicious I love ice cream so I know I love them let me just say that food corner has been on a roll lately the items picked have been so good I agree then I see Kendra adding Tapatio or chamoy to foods and it makes them so much more better I love it well moving forward we now go to our next segment a closer look at this week we take a closer look at Miss Reds coding class take it away hi my name is Miss Renne and welcome to coding class this is a fun and creative class will students will learn the basics of coding using a coding program called scratch where they can snap blocks together and create fun and interactive programs um games and animations also in this class we learn about different types of designers and students will get to actually choose if they want to code their project or design it on paper right now we are working on design and amusement park thank you for listening I loved when I had Mrs wrens class I had so much fun with all her projects I agree Rachel definitely 1 of my favorite classes in sixth grade speaking of favorite we now go to our next segment snack and chat this week our snack and chat team has a great interview you won't want to miss take it away hello Eagles and welcome back to another edition of stacking chat I'm Victoria and today we are here with Mr Padilla so let's get started uh what do you do here at armas I am I 1 of the Mental Health Counselors here at RMS and what inspired you to become a mental health counselor um I think working with uh different populations and knowing everywhere I went people always said you're a good listener you're a good listener cuz I was a little kid people said oh you're a good listener um and then so I feel like that kind of fit in with my thing I I'm not a person who gives directives I'm like a very calm all right so like you could talk to people when you listen to them yeah yeah I think my upbringing too I uh I grew up by the beach uh and then by the beach was like it was very mellow very chill yeah like a 5 or just like what you mean what is your favorite thing to do during your free time I think I said like going to the gym going to the gym watching movies um and then cooking I like to cook oh so you're very active I like to cook yes um lately I've been doing Smash Burgers um so I've been doing um trying different recipes if you are a millionaire what would you do with your money and don't say invest because that's like boring I'm going to spend it all I'm going to so what I always thought it was like I want to go lift by the beach and open up a coffee shop oh yeah are we doing I think just coffee shops are open from like in the morning and they buy 12:00 they're closed so I figured I'll have the rest of the day to do whatever I want interesting okay do you want to try something else now yes let's try right the pretzels pretzels these are what are what kind of pretzels are you HK Anderson peanut butter filled pretzel pretzel hello oh I'm going to grab 1 cuz like I don't know how have you had 1 of these before no no okay ready the salty and right I want to eat them like on my own time but I would eat them like they're good right mhm but I do feel like you need some to drink with because it's like yeah peanut butter is like dries mhm what are some of your favorite places to go slash visit or like on vacation so I've been around a lot of different places lot of different places but I think the best places I like is Mexico Mexico oh typically Waka I've never been there before southern Mexico so there's a city it's a It's like a there's like a culinary experience if you go there a lot of good food but then there's like lately there's a lot of new beaches by the by the ocean park by the oh Pacific um and they have they have very very nice calm Waters oh that's very nice yeah so now we're going to do a lining and you have to like just answer them okay okay ready horror code summer or winter summer sweet or sour sour day or night day dog or cat Cat superhero or villain superhero silver or gold gold movie or show show okay and now we can try something else okay let's try that 1 the chocolate almonds dark chocolate okay I don't know oh yeah you prefer dark chocolate yes dark chocolate should be healthier for you as well it is okay ready wait I'm scared Adam had this before no I've had chocolate covered almonds but not dark chocolate oh that's good not too sweet yeah your balance and it's crunchy I was like I like that it's pretty good it's pretty good okay we know counselors stay together to tell us who's your favorite counselor here at armas don't worry we won't tell Miss if it's not her this this is a tricky question I got to keep my cookie first well you know what there are other counselors here as well so there are counselors that people don't really get to see that come around um and then there's the ones that you see every day miss gdo and miss Garcia um so there are a lot of different counselors out there that are fun to talk to yeah yeah yeah so you don't have a favorite what is a favorite what is a favorite I think to find that someone you would pick over the others got okay and we could try our last night now okay that's that's 1 we could try both okay let's do so which 1 do you want to try first popcorn really yes wait buttery buttery flavor that is good I like that there's a lot of different the popcorn right there's like caramel popcorn there's spicy popcorn like chocolate popcorn chocolate popcorn I like the kernels from the fair we want to go to like the like the caramel ones yeah the caramel ones I don't like in that little Piping Bag all good yeah okay now we can try the chips the chips okay salt and OC salt yeah always scared that it's going to like pop have you had this before no you haven't had it either I've never tried it so they're a little bit of again it's I don't know if you got the theme so it's a little bit of a mix 1 flavor and another flavor combined together yeah I can tell you like like sweet and like salty like mixed together yeah all right it's actually some of my favorites really it's vinegary it's very vinegary and it's salty mhm very yeah so these are perfectly with a good sandwich good sandwich a good lunch yeah yeah there's a lot of flavor it's very right mhm yeah so you only need like a few mhm yeah yeah like mhm not my choice yeah all right we got like 4 out of 4 that's good that's good okay and that's pretty much it for this get gingerbread cookie from I don't know wait what is it strawberry pancakes this is not smell like strawberry pound cake no it does not it does wait I was like I'm scared oh what is it what is that is that a men's 1 no dude I don't know okay hold on I can't really smell Bella where'd you go spray your eyes okay I don't know is that like is that is that a princess 1 know it's it's a good night oh what the I this Give Me 2 okay we should keep it here cuz I like it how it is right here yeah okay I found it come on oh is it um I know what it's called 1 of the game ones or no no no is it um hey come on what's that called maybe if I can give it to you what no I know what it is beautiful it's a thousand I know I just going to remember the name she knew it I knew it but I couldn't remember the name okay here that smells like fall it smells like pumpkin pumpkin I don't know is that like you're so far off it's not even seasonal all year round is that like a Japanese turn I'll give you a hint it's in its men's yeah mahogany and Seafood it's ocean oh how is that men's that is men's it's a is it yeah okay well that the end of our game and I am pretty sure Bella won because I got all of them
